PN Amboró lies not far outside of Santa Cruz, Bolivia and covers a variety of different terrains. We went to the lower part of the park, to the jungle, and hiked along the Río Macuñucú. We being me, Kate, Kate, Bully, and our guide, Franklin.

After drying one's shoes by the fire, one is advised to remove them from the heat lest they melt, shrink, or become contorted and thus unwearable. Should this happen, one is advised to borrow a single sandal from a friend.
